The truth about buying "Off-season"

I wanted to show you some proof that buying on the off-season (when stores mark down items that are not in season i.e. Buying Fall/Winter clothes in Spring/Summer and vise versa) pays off, LITERALLY!
Dillard's: ORIGINALLY 34.00 PAID: 3.40 (That's 90% off, scarf included ;) Got it in 2 other colors

These are only some of the items were purchased in the Spring of  2011/10...

Dillard's 3.40 (or less)
Dillard's 3.40 got one in tan as well

K-mart 3.00 Great for layering!

Most stores start getting in their Spring lines around March and have to get rid of their Winter inventory. This is THE absolute BEST time to buy for next winter!!! It's still cold outside so, you are somewhat in the mood to buy cozy stuff still but, by now, it's  marked down 75% or more!

I can honestly say  90% of my Spring/Fall/Winter wardrobe, cost me (at most) 4 bucks per item.
This is the most cost effective way of building your wardrobe, you just have to be willing to look!

It just takes one "off" season to get you ON track. Think about it, if you buy for next Winter this Spring, you don't have to worry about buying all your sweaters etc. when Fall strolls around. And while everyone else is spending triple the amount of money on overpriced winter clothing, you, will be buying next seasons wardrobe for a fraction of the cost! It's a win win, you see. You spend less while avoiding unnecessary stress and crowds!
All it takes, is a bit of patience and most of all, self-discipline. And a little bit of cash, of course.

Good luck and happy "off-season" shopping!
